I have spooky problems with Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 160Gb disk on EPIA EN1500G.
I have tried 3 brand new disks of this model on 2 different MB's.
2 of the disks is not found by BIOS and kills also the second ID. 1 of the disks is found but causes reboots during WinXP install.
If I move the disks to primary slave connector (grey)all 3 disks are found on both motherboards.
I am convinced of that there are a compatibility problem with Seagate Barracuda ST3160215A and EPIA EN1500G it seams as you have the same problem.
I have tested with some other HD's that I foud at home Hitatchi, Fujitsu, Maxtor and they are all detected by BIOS without problems.
