Unhappy Ubuntu on UMPC Samsung Q1B

I've a strange problem.

I installed ubuntu in my UMPC Samsung Q1b (video graphics is CX700M2 and LCD supports 800x480, 800x600 and 1024x600).
With native driver card is not detected and X uses vesa driver.
I try several ways and at end I reformatted with Ubuntu 7.10. After I downloaded driver from via arena and installed it.
Card is correctly detected but when X start video is "out of sync" and show a fog of moving pixel.
I tried to modify screen resolution in xorg.conf but no changes at all.
Then I installed Ubuntu 8.04 and downloaded from via arena beta driver for that system.
After installation system behavior doesn't changes: a moving fog of pixel.
In Windows all is fine and than i suppose it isn't an hardware problem.
In bios setup of my pc is not possible change any parameter of video card (except ram, settable to 32/64/128).

Any idea?
