Google is entering the in-game advertising sector with the launch of the beta version of its AdSense gaming program. The beta version mainly focuses on the posting of ads in flash based games. Google is planning to work with PlayFish, Mochi Media, Demand Media and Konami in the beginning but later they are plan to place ads with bigger names in gaming industry independently. This launch may provide serious competition to the other giant player in the in-game advertising sector, Microsoft.

“According to Christian Oestlien, the senior product manager for AdSense for Games, the program's beta launch will focus on the placement of a variety of forms of ads in Flash-based casual games and some larger titles.” reported cnet news.
