Neverwinter Nights: Mask of the Betrayer | | | |
| | Neverwinter Nights: Mask of the Betrayer Neverwinter Nights appears to be one of those that only gets better in the sequel. Perhaps they deliberately leave room for improvement in the initial version to blow your socks off in the follow-up. Or maybe they just learn from their mistakes. The original Neverwinter Nights was tidied up with its expansions to produce (among other things) one of the best singleplayer campaigns. Neverwinter Nights 2 appears to be following the same pattern. "although a solid game it suffers from a poorly optimized engine and a decent, but slightly boring story. Can Mask of Betrayer repeat the success of the originals expansions and be what NWN2 should have been from the get go?" Gaming Heaven wants to know. And by golly, they're gonna find out. | Posted on Tuesday, October 30, 2007. Posted by fiona.
