Packard Bell's First UMPC Gets a Price Tag
Packard Bell in the UK is now marketing the EasyNote XS UMPC at a price tag of 349 pounds inclusive of tax. That amounts to approximately $710. It's Packard Bell's first UMPC and runs on a VIA 1.2GHz C7-M processor with 1GB of RAM. Equipped with Windows XP Home, 30GB hard drive, webcam, Bluetooth, and WiFi, it presents stiff competition to the ASUS Eee PC. Watch out for the US launch of the UMPC under the brand, the CE260.
