|  | The Other Side of Linux If open source software is so great (and not just because its free and has way fewer virus attacks than Windows), then why isn't everyone jumping on the bandwagon and why is Windows still in business? Although Linux has some great software applications to help users with compatibility issues between a Microsoft and Linux OS, it's not quite so easy to get familiar applications like Yahoo IM and iTunes to work on Linux.
