|  | Gamers not moving to Vista?
Talking to a variety of different people that I game with over the last couple of days, I was surprise that not one person out of the thirty-odd people I spoke with, were even considering moving to Vista in the next few months. Most of these guys are playing WOW, BF2 or SWG. Some of the comments I got were 'Why would I want to spend that amount of money on a new OS when I could spend it on a new video card, RAM or other upgrade?' or 'I'll let someone else do the beta testing' or 'It offers no performance increase for gamers so why would I waste my time?' I know a lot of the guys in our forums will be moving over to Vista and some of them even moved over to it during the beta testing stage. Although I might install it on some of my PCs, I don't think I will be upgrading my gaming rig until there is a game that requires it or runs better on it. |
