"Under the terms of the worldwide agreement, QUALCOMM has granted VIA Telecom rights to incorporate the BREW software layer into the CDMA2000 chipsets that it sells to its wireless device manufacturer customers. VIA Telecom initially plans to make its CDMA chipsets, featuring the BREW Client, available in July 2007. VIA Telecom will integrate the BREW Client in its CDMA products, offering its growing roster of device manufacturer partners a line of chipsets that have BREW pre-ported to them."
