When a new racing game is released I spend hours in front of my PC, so much so that I don’t even feel like going to work. Since I got the iPhone I have been playing those games while travelling and when my boss is out of the office! But the iPhone doesn’t give the same experience that you get playing on a PC. Yesterday I downloaded Fastlane Street Racing and I fell in love with the game after just a few minutes of play. The game has lighting effects, textures and good collision detection; it even has sparks when you just graze a barrier. You can play in 'Arcade', 'Time trial' or 'Challenge' modes with 10 original cars to choose from. The high detailed 3d graphics pushes the iPhone graphics engine to the extreme limit, resulting in high quality graphics. At US$3.99 this game is worth downloading.
