You might think this is something that will happen only in the future but a disc that can store 400GB is just around the corner. Pioneer has released the next generation Blu-Ray disc which has 400GB of storage capacity. You can dump the data of sixteen 25GB Blu-Ray discs in one package. Pioneer’s comment was that this could effectively reduce optical disc production and save resources.
