China Unicom Corp and now in play with each other. Unicom has recently teamed up with VIA Technologies Inc of Taiwan in a new CMDA deal. This is a great success for VIA which replaces NASDAQ:QCOM as supplier for the CMDA chips. Unicom seems to be very happy with this deal and mentioned that “the two companies will also cooperate in mobile phone chip technology and smart phones.” Read more. |
