Start Blogging
If you have more than one weblog account, then choose the weblog space from which you want to blog. Give a name for your blog post in the Enter Post Title Here. Then start typing the contents in the body field.

Formatting Blog Posts
The formatting feature in Windows Live Writer is just like formatting in MS Word. Use the Format menu and change the font, font color, alignment, numbering, bullets etc. You will be surprised at the amount of things that you can do – and best of all, you do not need to know any HTML coding to do it.

Inserting Pictures
Blogs are a lot more interesting when they have images or photos in them.
Insert Menu
Using the Insert Picture from File tab, you can browse pictures stored on your machine and insert them in the blog. Alternatively, use the Insert Picture from Web tab to browse the web for pictures and then insert them. Click on the Insert button when you’re done.

Note: Make use of the Insert menu for a horde of additional features like inserting Hyperlinks, Table, Maps, Tags, and Videos.
