Cons
- You need to upgrade to the Pro version for additional codecs. Some of these codecs are very commonly used such as MPEG4.
- The output format for a DVD player is available but it has no option to directly accept input DVD formats
- Help menu is inadequate and not very helpful
- Every time you convert files an irritating screen appears which asks you to upgrade to the pro version
- For the first time user it is hard to find a shortcut key for output folders and there is no information available on the interface
- Sometimes quality of video is reduced after the conversion
- Green lines appear when the video quality is poor and the screen is blank
- Some users have complained about loss of audio after conversion
- It is a bit slow to convert big files
- Only two output video formats are available for mobiles: Mpeg4 and xvid
- Any Video Converter free doesn’t support 64 bit Vista or Macs

The new version of Any Video Converter Pro boasts support for several new formats such as MPEG-4 for the Apple iPod, iPhone, G phone, PMP, Zune, walkman and PS3 Videos, and WMV format support for Archos, Windows Mobile and MS Zune. The free version has Mpeg4 and Xvid format support for mobile phones but the Pro version has an additional 3GP codec support for 3G mobile phones. It also supports the format for the Nokia N-Series Phone and BlackBerry. DivX and Xvid format for importing and exporting video is also available in the Pro version.
