Introduction

There are special times in everyone’s life and the best way to celebrate occasions is with the people you care about. There are all types of events that people celebrate together; baby showers, weddings, bridal showers, christenings, baptisms, birthday parties and much more. Inviting people with a phone call is one way to go, but for something special, an invitation is a must. You could buy the invitations, but that’s not as personal. You could slap something together in Word, but maybe you could find a program that would allow you to make something better? Because occasions come occasionally, it’s not worth paying for an invitation making software package. In this article, I’ll introduce Invitation Maker 2.0, a product from Quiglow.

Getting Started

You can grab a demo version of Invitation Maker from the official website or from a third party software provider such as Tucows. I downloaded the 4.2MB file from Tucows and installed it on a Windows XP machine. The installation was very simple.

The software can be installed on PCs with Windows 95/98 / NT / 2k / Me / XP / Vista.

Program Features

Invitation Maker offers more than 100 professional looking invitation templates for various occasions and its simple user interface makes it very easy to use. Don’t worry if you are not an expert graphic designer. You can include your own photos or clip art. Using Invitation Maker, you can format texts with different colors, fonts and sizes. The software offers inbuilt professionally written texts which you can use for making you custom invitation cards.

Creating an Invitation

Invitation Maker’s user interface is very friendly. To create an invitation card of your own, simply launch the application and select Open An Existing Design. This will allow you to choose from the templates.

Since, I have installed the demo version; I have only one design to choose from which is the design for a Bridal Shower.

Select the design and click the Open button.

Click on the Next button.
