Batch Editor

As the name suggests, this option allows you to convert the size of a whole batch of images all at once. If you’re going to upload a stack of images to Flickr or Facebook or you want to reduce them so that you can email them, this is the option for you.

Similar to Easy Thumbnails software, this has the option to change the size of the image based on height and width. Additionally, there are nine different options to resize the image like adjust height, adjust width, adjust, reduce the shorter length, the longer length, etc. you can also adjust the brightness, contrast, backlight correction, darken or brighten the batch of images by giving different effects to them.

Combine

Sometimes when I write an article I want to combine two or three different images to make one single image.  But that’s just me. This Combine feature is also great for making up a screensaver or background image, or perhaps preparing something like a photo wall at the 21st birthday party.

With Photoscape’s Combine feature I combine many different images to form a single image. Pictures can be combined in three different ways: horizontally, vertically or in a checkered format. I have combined 160 different images into a single file.  The conversion took only 2-3 seconds and I can use it to email the pictures as a single file which can then be retrieved using the splitter option.

In checkered format you have an additional option of choosing the number of columns. You can select a maximum of 24 columns.

To combine images click the Combine feature on the jog wheel. You can drag and drop the images from the image folder that is present on the left side of the screen. On the right side of the window you have options to adjust the margin size, color of the margin, intervals of photos etc.

Before converting all the images into a single file you can highlight a particular image by making some minor changes. By right clicking on an image you can brighten, darken, change the image to black and white, sepia, grayscale etc.

How does one remove dust specks or sun reflections from an otherwise great photo? I tried using the "mole" option and didn't get great results.
