Using Windows Live Writer
Working with Windows Live Writer is very easy. Open Windows Live Writer using Start> All Programs>Windows Live> Windows Live Writer. When you open Windows Live Writer for the first time, it will ask whether you already have a weblog account or want to create a new one. Skip ahead if you already have an account. New Weblog Account
Using the option Add Weblog Account, create a new account. If you have a MS SharePoint or another weblog service account you can use them. Otherwise, you need to create a new Windows Live Space account. If you have a Windows Live ID then make use of this to create a new space.

Create New Weblog Account
Follow the routine steps, like entering a name and password, to log on to your Live Spaces account. After this when you click Next, the application detects the weblog settings. A new application window appears prompting that the weblog configuration is complete.
Note: Make use of the link above the Windows Live ID field to create a new ID in case you do not have one. 
Detect Weblog Settings
Click Finish and you have created a new weblog account, ready for you to start blogging. |
