CyberLink MediaShow 4 can be used to view your photos like an album or a scrapbook. To start the photo module, select the Photo option from the MediaShow launcher which appears when you start the program.
To view a single photo, double click on the photo you want to view in the Media window. To dynamically resize the photo, use the Slider.
Photo Slideshow Creation
CyberLink MediaShow 4 allows you to create photo slideshows with number of awesome affects and customizable background music. You can also output it as a movie or you can burn it to DVD. To create a Slideshow,
- Import the photos for the slideshow, if they’re not already imported.
- Select the album or folder which contains them and then click on the Slideshow button. You can also select media from multiple folders or albums by holding the media within the Tray panel.
- During the slideshow, you can access the function buttons to customize your slideshow. You can select effects, background music, play, pause etc ...
Editing Photos
Sometimes photos don’t turn out exactly how you’d like. Granny looks like a crazed witch because of red-eye and that shot of you and your mates is way too bright. As you browse through your photos, select any photo with a problem and click on the Edit button. Once you click on Edit button, an edit window will appear with options to edit your file. On the top, you can see several function buttons like, Compare, Favorite, Rotate Left, Rotate Right, Fix, Fine Tune, Effects, Info and Tags.
You can use the compare option to compare your edited file with the original file. The Favorite option will let you add the selected media items to your Favorite folder. Rotate Left and Rotate Right option lets you rotate your pictures.
Click on the Fix button to fix image issues using options indicated in the following screenshots: Click on the Fine Tune button to manually adjust the Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, White balance or Sharpness of your photos. Adding Effects
Aside from fixing common photo problems you can also apply effects to photos, to give them an old world look, switch to black and white for dramatic effect etc ... To give effects to your photos, click on the Effects button. A window will appear similar to this:

Choose your desired effect from the list.
Batch Edit
If you have a whole lot of photos with similar issue to be edited, you can select multiple photos and then choose the desired edit function from the Batch Edit drop-down list to apply it to all of them at once.
Print Your Photos
The printing service in CyberLink MediaShow 4 is nothing special, to be honest. You can print photos in various sizes or send them to an online printing service – all the same functions offered by default in Windows.
