How to use Flickr Getting started with Flickr is easy , If you have a yahoo account you can directly open your Flickr account. You can also start you account as a new user where it creats a yahoo account and Flickr account for this, you have to fill in some of the usual details. To add your photos, just click the Upload Photos option on the home page. Note: To upload photos into Flickr you should install the corresponding uploader software to your PC first. 
Click Choose photos which will open a browser window. Choose the photos to be uploaded and click open. 
Once you have selected your photos, the widow displays the selected photo for further confirmation. Here you can make your choice of displaying your photos; you can display your photos publicly or private (only to your friends and family). Choose your option and click Upload photos. 
When your photos are uploaded, Flickr directs you to the next option. Here you can add the Tags, Description, and Sets (etc) to your pictures. 
Batch operations is the place where you add Tags, Title and Descriptions to a photo set. Click the Add a description button to perform Batch Operations. Tags, Albums, Titles, and Descriptions Tags are simple descriptions that you can add to your photos. Tags help you to search all the photos that have something in common. They act as a search engine for your photos. You can add up to 75 tags for each photo or video. To tag your photos just enter your tags in Add Tags column. You can also group your photos into an album. Click Choose a set which will drop down your current albums. You can save your photos to current sets or you can create a new set. To add a title to your photos, you can directly enter text in the Title Column. To add a description, follow the same procedure as for adding a title.
