Browsing Management Firefox 3 features a redesigned download manager with a built-in search option which lets you search downloads. If you have a long list of downloaded files in the download window (Ctrl+J), you just need to enter the initial letters of the file name into the search text box and the files will be sorted. The download manager also has the ability to resume downloads. Consider the following example where I have a list of downloaded songs and I want to search for particular files.

In the above pictures, the first picture shows the entire list and the second picture has the sorted list which is based on my search. One of the most popular aspects of Firefox has always been its add-ons, something that Microsoft’s Internet Explorer hasn’t come close to being able to replicate. Firefox 3’s add-ons dialog box now includes a new option, which is Plugins. This option allows you to manage (enable/disable) the plugins you have. This was a highly anticipated feature.
In Firefox 3, you can find and install add-ons directly within your browser. If you are unsure about which add-ons are right for you, Firefox will suggest them. The fully loaded Add-ons Manager lets you view, manage and disable third-party add-ons in a few easy clicks. There are over 5000 ways to customize the browser’s look and feel. Click on Tools > Add-ons > Get Add-ons

Select the add-ons you want to install and click on the Add to Firefox... button. |
