Discuss Stocks through Google Discussions

A good way to find out new stocks to research would be the Google Discussion platform. They provide this as part of Google Finance. Most popular stocks have lively discussions, and you can learn new information regarding stocks through these discussions. You can start your own discussion to ask questions of individuals who may know the answer. Just click the Discuss button as shown next to company name near the top of each listing.

Quick Note: The discussion questions will be answered by individuals, not by professionals or by members of the company’s staff. It should only be used for education purposes, not as a substitute to professional financial advice.

Google Finance and Professional Advise

Google doesn’t have a team of financial investors writing the content for their financial news portal, but they do tap into major news sources on the web and bring all that information to you under one roof. To better utilize the Google Finance interface, it’s best to know where you’re getting your news. This can be an important factor in determining the value of the news item.

In the light gray, you can view the source of the news. Each news item also has a related date. Google Finance will only provide recent news items unless you select a specific time period on the stock’s chart.
