Do You Use a Signature?
Many people like to use their email as a way to market their website, blog, service, or themselves. For instance, you can create a Gmail signature, which appends itself to the end of every sent email. In Gmail, the signatures appear in gray at the bottom of every email. However, when you write emails you can see and delete the signature line if desired.
Create Your Signature - Select Settings.
- In General write a signature line in the Signature box.
- Click Save Changes.

Mobile Gmail
Did you know you can access Gmail on many smart phones? You simply need to point the browser in your phone to http://gmail.com to begin checking your email. But Gmail does a few things other mobile email systems do not. For instance, you can open your email on the phone, and Microsoft Word attachments get automatically displayed if they happen to be attached to the email. This is extra-convenient for those of us who have to be out but are expecting important emails. Mobile Gmail can open PDF files and images as well.
Mobile Gmail also makes it easy to reply to specific contacts. If a contact appears in your address book with a phone number, then the mobile version of Gmail provides you with a quick way to call that person through the email software. Taking Gmail mobile does not require a software download to your phone, and it’s a quick way to stay on top of emails. |
