3DMark 2006 - With Cooling

The only way to truly test the cooler's capabilities was to push the notebook to its limits. When we did this with no cooler we found that the notebook reached critical heat levels. The cooler provided a drop in temperature of 11° C or 20° F, bringing the Intel CPU cores to a comfortable operating temperature. On the GPU side, temperatures fell from 91° C right down to 78° C (195-172° F). A twelve degree Celsius drop (or 23° F) provides a lot more overhead for GPU tweaking and/or overclocking.
