Image Quality

Using the slider controls, JPEG quality, brightness, contrast, sharpness, and rotation of your images can be adjusted. The value of 0 indicates the neutral image quality. You can also rotate the image 360 degrees. As you adjust the settings the output of the image can be viewed in the Preview output.

Background

The background of the image can be changed to differentiate the image color and the background color. To change the color right click on the image and select Background color. The color window pops up and you can choose your desired color.

Three buttons are located at the bottom right of the window to accomplish the final task. Click the Make all option to create all the thumbnails in the folder. To create a single thumbnail, click the Make button. When the thumbnail has been created, information pops up confirming that the thumbnail is created.

Note: Clicking the Make all button will apply the same setting to all the images.

Conclusion

Fookes software has done good job in creating this software; It only takes about ten minutes to become familiar with this software. The main aspect that impressed me is the user interface, Just four clicks and there is enough to get a resized image without compromising on the picture quality. Moreover whole batch of images can be resized in seconds much more productive than doing one by one in a graphic editor. Fookes could have added some more features to Easy Thumbnails but still it’s a great product to have – and it’s free.
